Tribble fills in every lane of the tender, and leaves the rates to pricing.

Lane sheets, customs, emissions, claims and peak plans, answered from what your operations, trade compliance and risk owners already approved.

Lane bids: Tribble fills in transit and pickup days for every lane from what operations approved, and leaves rates to pricing. A lane no transit standard covers goes to operations.

Bid season · every open tender at once

Tribble carries one approved change into every open tender.

Shippers bid their freight in the same few months, so your team works a dozen tenders at once, each in the shipper’s own template. When operations approves this year’s peak season plan, Tribble updates every open tender that used last year’s, and leaves the ones already submitted as they went.

  • Every open tender on one calendar, with its due date and what’s answered
  • One approval updates each open tender that used the old answer
  • Each updated answer shows its new source, its owner and the approval date

Cross-border and customs · CTPAT and OEA

Tribble answers the border questions and leaves classification to your licensed brokers.

Cross-border lanes bring their own questionnaire: CTPAT and OEA status, FAST drivers, the crossings you use and how you screen restricted parties. Tribble answers each from your trade compliance records. A question no approved answer covers, like a request to classify the shipper’s goods in the bid, goes to your licensed customs broker in Teams.

  • CTPAT, OEA, FAST and border crossing answers from your trade compliance records
  • A request to classify the shipper’s goods goes to your licensed customs broker, in Teams
  • Every answer names the record it came from and who approved it

Lane reviews · Tribble Engage

Tribble briefs your account director before every lane review.

Every quarter your account director walks each shipper through its lanes, and last quarter’s asks come back. Thirty minutes before the call, Tribble posts a brief in Teams: what moved, what the shipper asked last time, and the approved answer for each, with its source. On the recorded call, live suggestions stay on those answers, and the follow-up goes to Outlook drafts.

  • A brief before each lane review: what moved, what’s still open, and the approved answer for each
  • Live suggestions on recorded calls, with consent
  • Follow-ups drafted to Outlook, so you send and archive as you do today

Emissions · SmartWay, GLEC Framework and ISO 14083

Tribble remembers which emissions method each shipper was given.

Shippers count your emissions in their own Scope 3 reporting, so they ask how you calculate them: SmartWay data, the GLEC Framework or ISO 14083, measured fuel or default factors. Tribble answers from the methodology statement your sustainability director approved, and keeps each version, who approved it and every questionnaire it went into. When the method changes, you can see which shippers have last year’s.

  • Methodology, SmartWay, fleet and fuel answers from your approved sustainability documents
  • Each version, its approver and every survey and tender it went into
  • Every version keeps the name of the person who approved it, and the date
The record behind an emissions answer: each method, who approved it, and which shippers received it.

Clarification rounds · liability and claims

Tribble answers round two the way your submission answered round one.

After the first round, the shipper’s sourcing team comes back with questions about what you submitted, most of them on liability, claims, insurance and subcontracting. Tribble answers each from the answer that went into your submission and the position your risk and claims director approved, so round two says what round one said.

Everything in a shipper’s tender pack, and who owns each part.

Grouped by who owns the answer. Every one draws on the same approved service guide, positions, records and past tenders.

FAQ

Common questions.

Does Tribble fill in rates?

No. Tribble answers the service side of a tender, lane by lane, from what operations approved. Rates and accessorials stay with your pricing team.

Does Tribble promise transit times or decide customs classification?

No. Tribble drafts answers from the transit standards, records and positions your owners approved, with the source on each, and your owners approve them. Classification stays with your licensed customs brokers.

What happens to a lane our transit standards don’t cover?

Tribble routes it to operations in Teams with the lane attached and names what’s missing. The reply becomes the answer for this tender and is saved for the next one.

What happens to open tenders when we approve a new peak season plan?

Tribble updates every open tender that used the old plan. Tenders already submitted stay as they went, and each answer’s record shows which version went where.

Can Tribble answer a clarification round?

Yes. Tribble answers each clarification from the answer you submitted and the position your owner approved, including questions about your exceptions to the shipper’s transportation agreement. A question no approved answer covers goes to its owner.

Does Tribble answer emissions questionnaires?

Yes, from your approved methodology statement, emissions report and SmartWay records. Tribble keeps a record of which method each shipper received.

Does Tribble need access to our TMS or shipment data?

No. Tribble works from documents: your service guide, records, positions and past tenders. It doesn’t connect to your TMS, WMS or shipment data, and each source keeps the permissions it already had. Tribble itself is SOC 2 Type II compliant.

Can account directors use Tribble in lane reviews?

Yes. Tribble Engage briefs them in Teams before each review, answers in Teams or Slack with the source attached, suggests answers live on recorded calls, and drafts the follow-up to Outlook.
